You do know that display graphs are only from this drive? Next to consumption number should be how much you have driven after it was reset. If you drive and don’t reset the consumption and it still doesn’t work then it probably problem with MFD itself. Does everything else in it work?

    Dear valde3

    Thanks for your respond.
I just follow the steps and accessed the "SYSTEM CHECK MODE"
    Everything is "OK"

Then I went to "VEHICLE SIGNAL CHECK MODE"
    BATTERY :12.6V
    IG : ON
    PKB : ON
    REV : OFF

    Any advice ?

Do the test from that link and you should get three different voltage readings. Post them here. When you get the last one Prius is in ready and you can start driving. Does the speed screen display your speed?

I checked the speed and its showing 0km/h always. This could be the problem ?
I'll post the 3 voltage reading. I dont have them right now.

Yes that is the problem. But unfortunately I don’t have more information how MFD receives information on vehicle speed. Problem can be with MFD or with some component that sends speed information to it or wiring.

Go back to system check mode. If all still read ok press LAN Mon. Do they all still read OK? If there is something that reads CHEK press it. Write down (or take picture) of everything that displays. Then go back by pressing Service in upper right corner. Then do the same to all that says CHEK.

Does your combination meter (speedometer) work normally? Do your odometer and trips work normally? Anything else in the car that doesn’t operate normally?

Maybe there could be some speed signal interrupt switch somewhere that lets you use some function of MFD when vehicle is moving? Does Japanese version have those? Do you see any aftermarket switches anywhere in the car?

They seem to differ from US codes that I have manual for.

In the US manual DB says:
    “Mode status error
This code detects a dual alarm.
Inspection for the device indicated by the sub code.”
But your sub code is 1AC and US manual doesn’t know it.

    In US manual E0 says:
    “Registration complete indication error
When ”Registration complete” command from the master device cannot be received. This code will be detected when signal receiving time is delayed.
    –“

Maybe with Japanese version manual but written in English this could be solved. Or maybe somebody else could help…
