Mobil 1 oil rebates: full synthetic 5 quart jugs from $15

    Just thought I'd let everyone know about this deal on oil, for those who do their own oil changes, since this is the cheapest I've seen 0w20 synthetic oil. They had the same rebate at the end of 2014, and I stocked up on 5 jugs of it for my Prius c, plus some more for my SO's car. It looks like Walmart sells conventional Quaker State 0w20 now for about $14.50 also, so at the very least, you're getting a free upgrade to full synthetic.

    Mobil 1 has a rebate for $12 off 5 quarts, which makes it $14.68+tax. You can use a cashback site for up to 5% off if you order from Walmart online for store pickup. Advance Auto Parts and Autozone have in-store deals involving Mobil 1 oil filters, which also qualify for the rebate.

    Note: Mobil says: "ExxonMobil recommends a five-year maximum shelf life for engine oils, including Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil." I keep mine in the basement so the temperature is fairly stable, and shake them before use.
