mpg and thoughts on the 2010 prius

Bought a 2010 prius III June 17 in AZ. Took a trip up north, 4000 miles and loved the car. Traded in an 06 which we really liked also. Average milage for the intire trip was 50.7. MPG of course did vary with the speed. Tried them all. At 55 mph mpg was at or over 60, at 60 to 65 mph mpg was around 55 and at 75 mph the mpg was around 49 to 51 mpg. I did drive at each speed for at least one hour to get a good check. Only thing I don't like about the car is the AC panel below the nav system is very hard to read. I think maybe it should be back lit. The solar roof seems to work very well. But if you leave it on with the AC working it does tend to warm the ac air.
