Just finished a 5 day trip to Reno with a return thru Lake Tahoe, then back Home (Sacramento). Miles: 137, 91 mpg, with 10.6 left on charge. EV use = 51% HV use =49% METHOD: Drive in EV downhill or flats. IF: you have to drive uphill: use HV. For those of you that may wonder why one would want to have still a good charge after arriving at home??? To lower your elec bill! And lessen your charge time. Incidentally, I did not use this method the entire trip, but only the last 20 miles, so you can do better. Has anybody?
