My car just got to the dealership!!! + Progress thread!

Well the moment is finally here. My sales guy called saying the car is at the dealership, so after work I go to pick it up. That also means that tonight I start ordering parts. Right now the only definites are the tein Htechs and the led light kit for it and 20%ceramic tint this saturday. I might order the oem aero kit however Ive been noticing that some members are waiting to see what other kits will be avail for the 2012 facelift which has got me wondering. Cant wait to start posting more!!I think this will be my Mod thread.

ehh TBC. The dealer ship tried to bump me up in price so I walked. Saying they werent allowed to remove the toyoguard which is crap. I sold cars for quite a while so I know all the tricks. They didnt want the deal, they knew I was paying cash. This really sucks, guess I should have waited to start this thread, ohh well the search continues.

You need to tell everyone here what dealership and who the salesman was so no one else has to go through what you are going through. That's pitiful.

Its Courtesy Toyota in tampa FL. They basically said they rarely get naked vehicles that dont have the toyoguard and all that on it. They said i could wait for one but thats stupid Id like the car now. Going back tonight for round two through the internet team. the sticker on the car im getting is 30,500. The internet manager is giving it to me for that same price out the door. I used truecar.com which i think their site is getting crappier. It used to be real good in 2010 when I bought my camry. So wish me luck guys, Im taking a trip to the SC for memorial weekend it would be nice to get there on one tank!!! lol

What pkg did you want?

They are one of the dealers who responded to my USAA buyer service quote last week. They quoted $500 BELOW invoice which on a pkg 5 with Advanced tech pkg was $2,637 below MSRP. They also then add $599 dealer fee plus tag and title. The only dealer who beat that deal was Daytona Toyota at $1000 below invoice, but their dealer fees were $100 more at $699.

Call Brandon at Daytona Toyota internet sales for a price. He was real good on the phone. His direct number is 321-987-0971

South East Toyota distributor packs most cars with Toyoguard at the port. If it has not been through the port yet you can insist that they do not Toyoguard it. If it's been through the port the dealer will pay for the Toyoguard. I dont remember the invoice cost but ask to see the invoice.

It's done already but thanks I'm glad its over. It was funny when the FI guy was trying to sell me the packages I acted like i was interested but shot him down on everything, He probably wants back 20 min of his life.

If and when you want to purchase an official Toyota Extended Warranty you will find that no Florida dealer will discount it. There is a great guy named Troy Deitrich who is at a Toyota of Greenfield, MA, who sells Toyota official warranties at significant discount. I bought one from him for my 2005 Prius and another for my 2008 Avalon. As long as you are still within 3 years 36000 miles he can sell it.

I used it twice on my Avalon. Once to replace the steering column because the telescopic feature would unlock $1200 fix for free. The other time to replace both self leveling HID headlamp assemblies, a $2400 fix for free. I bought the 8 yr 125,000 mile zero deductible Toyota Platnum warranty for the Avalon for about 60% of local dealer price.

the window sticker with the toyoguard/floormats/bumper protector and some other stuff was $30,500. In the end I got the car for that same price OTD. I called the parts dept today too. I got them to match my imaginary competitor price for the rear swaybar at 235+tax.

5/19- llumar ceramic tint 15% all around, clear blue front windshield. The clear bra 3m protection is on order should be here by wed. Doing half hood front bumper mirrors and front fenders. My camry is full of rock chips so this isnt going down again.

I've always wondered about Troy and his warranties. How does he afford to sell it for cheaper? Why can't everybody sell it for his price?
