How to temporarily disable the Nav System's dead-reckoning system to allow input while still moving.

Will this defeat the bluetooth lockout? I can't dial my phone from the handset or nav while moving I can dial from the nav if stationary (like at a light), but still not from the handset. I am concerned that I can't dial 911 if I am being followed by a freak or see an accident, unless I stop the car. Any thoughts? Also, How do I download the PDF mentioned in the thread? I can't see any link.

You can bypass the bluetooth lockout by simply using your cell phone to dial instead of the touchkeys.
