New 2008 Prius!

Hi everyone! Just got my spectra blue pkg 2 Prius today.

Caved and paid $24329.58 out of door for it. I was wondering if I paid way too much for a package 2.

It's been great so for though!

looking forward to reading about how "drive" it with the best fuel efficiency.

If you got the Touring pkg 2 then that's about what I paid.

I didn't get the Touring.. I guess I might have paid too much. I live in California Bay area so maybe that made a difference.

The dealer told me to fill it up with regular gasoline. He also suggested that I get a "premium plan" which includes maintenance and such. I didn't get any further warranty coverage other than the free one that came with the car. I read on the forums that there is a person selling extended warranties for this vehicle. Is it a good idea to actually buy an extra plan?

No, sorry I didn't get the pre-paid maintenance plan. The dealer was trying to sell me on it though. I'm thinking I can do the oil changes, etc later on

Good! Prepaid maintenance is a total rip. It's only oil and filter changes until 60K miles.
