Hi. I picked up my brand new black 2010 Prius Technology Package (Canada) yesterday. It's such an amazing car, I love it.

Boo that sucks you're still waiting!

We were told that we couldn't get black and we would have to wait a long time by our local dealer. We happen to be in Vancouver out of town to go to my fiances sisters wedding and we figured we'd do a 11 pm drive by and low and behold there it was! we called first thing the following morning and by midday it was ours.

Our local dealer figured it was a computer malfunction is why they couldn't see the one available in Vancouver. Personally we think the Vancouver dealer didn't update their inventory cause the Prius' sell like hotcakes. :p

Umm... I don't think that's the case. Here, a dealer showed me that he can see any car that's coming in (even if it's destined for Toronto).

You just search by year, model, colour, package, region and that should give you a good idea of the inventory. It'll show whether a vehicle is in production, en route, at port or at a dealership.

Our local Toyota dealer admitted that they tried trading 14 cars for 1 Prius, even then was refused. Apparently the Prius are so hot that dealers aren't updating their inventories and aren't willing to trade. We got so lucky finding our dream Prius. :)

I tried to get black originally. The dealer who had the black allocated to them refused to transfer it to my dealer. So I ended up with the Blizzard Pearl instead.

What do you mean by technology pack? here in the US the prius 2010 V is what we call the technology package (parking assist, nav, LED lights, 17 inch wheels, etc...). No offend but this doesn't seem to be a prius V , at most a Prius III...
    great looking though...

It means we get leather, heated seats, IPA, DRCC, PCS, backup camera, nav, solar roof etc etc.

The Prius V is NOT the Advanced Technology Package. And please, our cars are packaged differently from yours. Just because it doesn't look like yours doesn't mean it isn't. We get the solar panels with our Tech Pack.

The Prius V comes with LED, 17" alloys, foglights. There are two options for the Prius V - Nav Pack and AT Pack.

Nav Pack adds $1,800 and the AT Pack adds $4,500.

    Nice!
In those pictures you have original wheels. Are they 15" or 16"?
And do you have Solar Panels on the roof?

Those would be the original 15" wheels. Should be the same as your car. The Technology Package does include the solar panels in Canada.

The only benefit of the 15" alloys that I can see (aside from being lighter than the 17") is that we can have a choice between two wheel designs.

Yes i will go with the tech package since i am buying it used............i found a red barcelona with 13 000km on it for 29 995$ wich is not firm price......

I would love the 17 inchs rim and LED light but i think the leather and gps and sunroof worth it more than a set of wheels.........
