First the author of this article says that new Chrysler small and midsize cars, based on Fiat platforms, will be arriving in 18 months. Then the author says "in November." Neither November 2009 nor November 2010 is "18 months." I'm confused. Can you figure it out?

My best Guess: Existing Fiats rebranded as Dodges/Chryslers in November. Newly designed cars in 18 months.

Maybe within 18 months starting this Nov?

I'm expecting Fiats.... Now the question is whether they'll rebadge it like they rebadged Mitsubishis or whether they'll sell them as Fiats. I don't know if anyone wants to drive a Chrysler 500 lol (although I think Chrysler has that nameplate somewhere in its history)

Chrysler won't be around in 18 months, I'm sad to say

True ... it's like GM bragging they're going to 'soon' be building a SUV hybrid ... and how great it'll be. Meanwhile, they've already stopped production on one of the best hybrids that they just began production on. All hype ... no substance
