I'm there... if I can be. I know people are just coming off hybridfest, so maybe 2 weeks? Firsthand reports from hybridfest would be nice to hear.

The second and third weekends in August are no good for me, in case anyone cares. ;)

Ew, Allston? No thanks! Natick or Hopkinton would be great.

We did meet at the Charles River Reservation near Allston last year... it's nice, with a big parking lot. But I'd still vote for Natick or Hopkinton just because I haven't been to either of those parks.

Well compared to driving to HF this is a piece of cake. Any location is OK with me. Just got home last night - 2398 miles round trip - 1140+ to get home in 48 hours. Haven't figured out the mpg yet, but it will be skewed since I had the A/C running all night and during naps both ways even when sleeping. MFD would go from 55 to 46, then back up to 52 or 53 when driving again. But between the heat, humidity and bugs I had to do it. Will work on photos soon.

Any plans for a MA Prius meetup again this summer? Anyone want to nominate a place to meet and we can decide...maybe a few weeks from now before the kiddies go back to school?

I wouldn't mind trying again. [I'll see you at the AMEC run
anyways, right?] Right now I'm enroute to the Cincy one, and still
think it's ironic to have to go so far afield for such things
when there are tons of Priuses right around our home area.

Hmmm, I wonder what Gilles is up to these days..

I will be in Fonda, NY for the AMEC run but that's a couple weeks away and I was thinking a pre-Labor Day meetup would be best before all the parents on the site are in "cart the kiddies around town" mode. Just need a little time to plan ahead for the meetup.

Maybe Saturday, August 29 or Sunday, August 30 in a central location so all can be within 1-2 hours drive time. I don't think it has to be an Economy Competition (although I love the idea). Maybe just a meetup to flex some Prius muscle with some lunch (picnic or restraurant). I always like seeing a flock of Prius together...turns as many heads as seeing a bunch of hot rods in a parking lot!

I think the Saturday, August 29 date might be best...what do you think Hobbit? I'll start a new thread on here so the title reflects 2009 meetup after hearing your ideas. We can look for location suggestions in that thread too.

I'm rarely around Priuschat these days, but I'd still try to make it, depending on location. Having 2 children under age 2 at home makes even the simplest things exceedingly challenging!
