We have been contacted by many members on this forum about the Prius v. We already had a stealth/hidden eco hitch for the original prius available. But it did not fit the v model. I have great news. For those of you who have contacted us (you know who you are) the Prius V stealth Ecohitch is now available. It is still 100% no drill, lifetime guarantee, and 100% invisible.

We have also up-rated the hitch to 350 lbs tongue weight with the new Prius v.

We are loving working with the new Prius.

I have been really interested in getting a hitch for a bike rack. Do you have pics on a V yet? Was on your site and didn't see any?

Do you have anyone in Canada installing? Barrie or Toronto area? Or is this easy enough to install by myself?

Found this YouTube video of their install. Looks great. Waiting to hear back on the price. Here's a link to the video.

The hitch is also 100% hidden on the back of the vehicle.

Do you have any pictures from a normal angle outside? As though viewing from behind and/or diagonally behind the car. It looks beautifully hidden. Want to see what others would see following my car!

Also, is the hitch clear of the exhaust? The Curt hitch had some teething problems where it blocked the exhaust and damaged the bumper. The latest design has a gap for the exhaust. Your design looks like it does not impact the exhaust gases, but some clarification would be good!

Our hitch clears the exhaust 100%. Since its hidden, the hitch cross tube sits above the bumper/behind the bumper. The exhaust hangs lower than the hitch itself.

Curt and other manufacturers just want to make their hitches fit and they don't care about how it looks or how easy it can be for the customer. When we design a hitch we keep the customer in mind as to how WE would want that hitch to look as if it was OUR car.

Thats the difference between us and the other guys. We always design with aesthetics in mind.

This picture shows exactly what you would see if people were following you. The only thing your can see in this picture is the hitch receiver, because everything else is way up above the bumper behind the bumper.

I have no other pictures of side views. I apologize. The video may give more detail.

Wow, first 2 inch hitch I have ever heard of for the Prius.
Do you make a hitch for GenII models?
    Nice work by the way!

THANK YOU!!!!! I was planning on making my own 2" receiver for my bike rack since the Curt and others only offered 1.25", but this will be perfect. Can't wait until my v gets here so I can buy this.

    Hi,

Any chance we can get a look at the installation instructions?
No drilling sounds great, but I'm wondering just how much work it takes to install.
Can't tell from the video how it takes to install, or if there is any need to remove/dismantle/alter any car components in order to get this thing installed.
I'd like to determine if I could install this myself, or need to pay my mechanic to do it.
    Thanks.
