    Hello Everyone!

I'm so glad to find this site!

My name is Alex and I'm a new Gen III Prius Owner. I first saw the Prius on a Motorweek show back in May and I fell in love.

I test drove the Prius in June and was very pleased at how comfortable it was for me. I have 2 artificial legs and the car accomodates me completely.

My Prius is a Profile 4 with Nav and Sunroof. I've owned the car for two weeks now and I must say the car has EXCEEDED my expectations. I LOVE driving again! I find myself looking for opportunities to leave the office (on my lunch break) just to go out and drive.

I am very happy with my new car!

Anywho, I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself.
    Drive Safely,
    Alex

I bought mine about 1 month ago, and as you said it exceeded my expectations also. I love this car.

    Hi Alex,
My name is Steve. I'm from Metairie Louisiana, and I have been exploring the Toyota Prius for over three years.
I just bought the Prius IV with Sunroof and Nav. Pkg. and several other options about 2 weeks ago.
It has to be ordered, as the dealership didn't have the one I wanted in stock. I can't wait to get mine, after reading your message. I will be on pins and needles for about 2 months till mine gets here. I hope everyone out there feels the same way I do, and I don't even have mine yet. I hope your having lots of fun with yours..
    Steve

I am also a new owner of a used rig, 2005 with 147,000 miles -- but with impeccable maintenance records so here's hoping. Thanks already to this forum -- we did not get the car with an owner's manual, last night drove to LAX in the car to get my father in law (averaging 47 mpg, is that possible? late at night, no traffic) and when we came back and shut the car off, there was this red blinking car on the dash that I had never noticed before. Glad to find in this forum that it is the anti-theft system...

Do buy the correct year Owner's Manual from a dealer part's desk and read it. It's full of stuff that you need to know.

Alex, welcome! Do you use hand controls or other customizations? If so, did your custom shop have any challenges because of the hybrid powertrain? (My late wife was a TBI patient who transferred from a wheelchair. I bought the car to better accommodate her needs v. our 07 Subaru Outback.)

Yeh me too. New Prius owner of 2 weeks. I love my car too.

But I realize the version seems alot in US. In Asia Malaysia there are only 1 type. The car came basically is very general. I don't have, Sunroof, no USB, no navigation system, no reverse camera. The player came only support CD with mp3 support. Even my radio antenna is bigger then others, thinking of changing my antenna to shark-fin facing problem. The original base is too big. Even the warranty for the batt is 2 yrs or 100kmil.
