New "Topic of the Month" award system

    There's a new award here at PriusChat - the "Topic of the Month" award. I've added an easy to use system that will allow you to nominate and vote for any thread that you think should be the PriusChat Topic of the Month.

    Which post should win this month's "Topic of the Month" contest?

    Choose from the topics (posts/threads) listed throughout the forums, and vote for your favorite post now.

    What is Topic Of The Month?
    Topic of the Month is a contest that select posts on which we would like the community to commit to as a group and then discuss them during the course of the selected month. Any listed topic (thread) is eligible for the Topic of the Month selection.

    What determines a Topic Of The Month?
    Topic Of The Month is based on a simple nomination system. Throughout the selected forums, members with adequate permissions can nominate their favorite topic by clicking on the award nomination button below the post - [IMG].

    The topics with the most nominations during the course of the month are displayed on this thread using the poll feature. At the end of the month, the first three topics with the most nominations are the award winners of the contest. Each winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the PriusChat Accessory Shop!

    When you withdraw your votes, your posts disappear from the bot on the Topic of the month thread, in case anyone was wondering.

    I've withdrawn all of mine and will not be participating anymore. I find the entire concept now tainted by bribery.

    There are some bugs in the Topic of the Month system, so I have disabled it for now. I'll let everyone know when it's back up and running.
