This video rocks! I watched it at work without audio and it still rocks. I didn't think we'd see anything like this till March 25th.

I think there is an error in what the Toyota flack says about the 3 driving modes. He says that they are on top of normal. There is no "normal." I don't know what the default is, but I don't recall hearing that there was a normal mode.

I haven't seen a 3rd gen Prius on my own, boy I thought it actually had 4 driving modes. So when you turn it on, it is in normal mode: no ECO, no PWR and no EV. Then you can push any of the 3 buttons to activate it's mode, and push it again to "deactivate" it and return to normal mode.
I read somewhere that the EPA test was done in this "normal mode", so ECO mode will have even better milleage...
I could be completely wrong, so please correct me if I am.

Normal mode is the default mode. Normal defines the mode in which neither of the 3 buttons are pressed.

I would keep mine in PWR mode all the time !
Gotta photoshop those buttons to look like:

    STL mode
    <3 mode
    OWN mode

Nice to dream. I'm keeping my 2006 till it dies out. I want to see it make 2026 with only a few spark plugs changed and newer a Toyota PHEV LiPO4 EV-20 battery pack (this would be nice for circa 2014)
