My Prius is only 5 days old. I am getting used to the new toys.
I a pretty red one. I was looking for suggestions on what kind of seat covers to get.
I got the light bisque interior and I am worried that it will get stained. I don't know where to go to get some nice covers. Any pictures of some nice pics of seat covers??
I already ordered all weather mats in black, mudflaps, xm radio reciever, and side moldings.
Anything else that is a nessesity??
    Thanks

I think you have to be careful with seat covers if you have the optional side air bags so the seat cover won't interfere. I have some covers on order from Wet Okole (Car Seat Covers by Wet Okole Hawaii) that are made specifically for the Prius and won't block the airbags. Haven't received them yet, but I was impressed with the pictures on their website.

    Julieann,

I also got the bisque interior. I've been assured by my parents that the micro-fiber fabric used on the seats cleans very easily. They have a light gray interior on their '04 and it looks nearly new except for the floor mats which appear to be "just" carpet. I'm also ordering the floor mats, but am sort of torn on the color. I don't think the black of the Toyota ones or the aftermarket ones I like would look very good, but the clear ones available have no "lip" on them...

    Which ones did you get?

    Also, forgot to say CONGRATS!!!

Don't assume that you need seat covers. People have reported that things like lipstick and chocolate clean up relatively easily from the standard factory fabric. After four years and 28,000 miles the driver's seat in mine looks new.

    ARedAZPrius,
I saw that website and they look real nice. Which color did you choose? They are a little pricey. Can you take some pics when you get them in??
    Thanks so much!!!

I will. They estimate the order to take 4-7 weeks for delivery because they customize each set. I ordered the red Hawaiian flower kind. If you do a search on this forum, lots of others have posted photos of their installations. The impression I've gotten is that everyone who orders them think they are worth the high cost.
