noise maker?

    Our PV5 doesn't appear to have a noisemaker (other than the backup beeper).

    Someone that would ignore the noise maker will ignore a gasoline engined car gliding at low speed too, they hear it, they just assume the right-of-way (legally they do have it).
    I do not understand the desire to disable it, you cannot hear it from the driver seat with the windows closed. It is not annoying. Why?

    if you open your window and pull into a garage at 2-3 mph, you should hear it. if not, perhaps it isn't working or you don't have one.

    They do not have legal right of way in New York:

    Section 1152. Crossing at other than crosswalks.

    (a) Every pedestrian crossing a roadway at any point other than within a marked crosswalk or within an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection shall yield the right of way to all vehicles upon the roadway.

    Same thing in NJ, but I have yet to ever see it enforced by the police. They could pay off the debt in my town with tickets for jaywalkers. As for the noise maker, if a blasting sound system in a car doesn't alert them, what good is a Star Wars noise maker?
