I'm a registered user, but I end up hitting the PriusChat site from various computers so I often see the "not logged in" experience. And for a few months (IIRC), it's had this bit of code exposed in that mode:

    input['act'] == 'idx' or Object->input['showforum'] or Object->input['showtopic'] or Object->input['module'] == 'gallery' or Object->input['act'] == 'calendar' or Object->input['module'] == ‘blog’">

Further, when I tried to use the "contact" form, it seemed to accept my request, but then it redirected me to this url, which didn't display anything:

    http://priuschat.com/index.php?

(And the source was empty, too.) I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.3 on OSX 10.4.6 (PPC).

Not a showstopper, but I figured that the maintainers of the site might almost always be logged in, so might not be aware of this problem for visitors / guests.

Kudos and thanks to the PriusChat team for the great resource! :)

I have the same kind of problem. I have to login twice before it will take most days.

Just to clarify, I'm not having trouble logging in -- I was just posting this so that the site admins are informed of it. (I wouldn't have posted anything at all, but I wasn't sure that the "Contact" page actually sent them my note, given its weird behavior after clicking "send".)

Thanks anyway, though. :) (And I understand you might have been replying to the person who *was* having trouble logging in, so hopefully this is good info for them! :)

Well, I seem to have a problem logging in on my MSNTV (newer version of WebTV). It won't even recognize me as signed in, no matter what part of the site I'm on. It'll say "thanks for signing in" (or whatever it says), and then as soon as I want to post or something, it says "please sign in" and ultimately I cannot do anything on the site.

(Right now I'm using a computer at school).

After doing some quick research, it appears that IPB (the forum software) is not compatible with MSNTV for one reason or another.

I'll let you know if I find a fix.

In the meantime, the main page should be fixed now for everyone.

If you take the cookies with you
    __ member_id
    __ pass_hash
to those other machines, define them as valid for both "priuschat.com"
and "www.priuschat.com", you should be able to just always be logged
in. Save a copy of cookies.txt [most browsers, I think] and do a
little manual editing... keep a copy aside to put back in as a new
starting cookies.txt after you clear everything, and you should be
    good to go.
