Not able to change songs from steering controls on aux connected iphone

    I have an issue changing songs from car steering while i connected aux cable with nexus 7 (tried iphone 5/bb playbook/nexus 7/5) ,I am frustrated every time i have to change songs manually, is there anyway i can connect and integrate with my car steering, i am not using 6 cd changer(big junk i found in prius).

    aux port is only audio input, you would need a usb port for the steering wheel buttons to work. there may be other ways to do it. I'd call crutchfield and ask what they can recommend. perhaps some sort of Bluetooth adapter is available. I'm not to impressed with the aux port either, but it beats cd's.
