At Home, Toyota’s Suppliers Are Disaffected - NYTimes.com

Interesting and a little disheartening to see yet more (conveniently timed) piling it on Toyota...

FWIW, in the past, I'd usually seen the press reporting that Toyota had very good relations w/suppliers but that had slipped somewhat recently.

How about a NYT article on the millions of unemployed, underemployed and displaced US workers a result of the Toyota Japanese juggernaut. Places where GM and Ford Plants have closed, places where the unemployment rate is 15 or 20%, in parts of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Delaware, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oklahoma, California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania.

Interesting the congressman in California stated the closing of the Nummi Plant in california would mean the elimination of 35,000 jobs. One plant.

It's a pretty big stretch to attribute all that to Toyota.

No, of course not just toyota, they are the largest and more visible, kind of like many folks on here use GM when they often mean detroit.
