I tested your app, and sensor refresh rate is way better than Torque app. Torque refreshes rpm sensor very slowly from log files I get a reading every 3 seconds.
From your app it's almost instantaneous, how do you do it? As I understand Torque app sends PID requests, do you just listen on the CAN bus or do you also send requests?

I alredy have some feature requests:
    - torque sensor
    - fuel flow (have no idea how to calculate)
    - ICE power - torque * rpm (conversion formulas)
    - BSFC - fuel flow/power (I have done some calculation of BSFC in this spredasheet)
    - MG2 and MG1 power
    - battery current * voltage = battery charge discharge power
    - MG1 power/ICE power (higher % higher loses) - I think this is speed related, will see

I would like to see what we get from this values, and how to affect them during driving, and maybe create a more advanced ECO meeter. Is this app open sourced, I'm software developer, but I have not done any Android programing.

There is a bug (Galaxy S3 and cheap Bluetooth adapter), I couldn't close your app, I had to kill it.

Hi, all that PID's you say, i have already in my windows mobile app. I can translate all to android. I develop a very fast algoritm in windows mobile and i translate it to android. The result is a very fast app in windows mobile and in android too. I am not a software developer. But, by the moment, the source code it is not open source. I am from Spain, and in our forum, there is nobody interested in android app. Perhaps i need help to publish my idea, or perhaps my idea is a fool. I dont know. anyway, if you are interested, i can put more PIDS and give you a private version of my app.

I hope that I'm not the only one that want a better and Prius dedicated app. Maybe someone that has both scangauge and Torque app can tell what are the scangauge advantages and Torque disadvantages and you try to develop them in dedicated Prius App (OBDPRIUS3G).

One advantage I see is combing different sensors into something meaningful, and refresh rate of your app is already way faster than Torque.

I don't have performance problems (about 17-19PID/s) with Torque and I don't experience the ICE RPM lags. I agree with you that some aggregated displays will be usefull as well as WinCE 6.0 application dedicated for Prius. If we find the way how to incorporate the app to chinese (or other 3rd party ones) head units, it will move the HU to the next dimension.

Perhaps I have too many PIDs enabled in Torque app, I enabled enhanced MPG calculation, will try to dumb down number of sensor as my Bluetooth adapter is showing something like 20 PID/s.

As I understand he already developed WM app, so runnig this on Win CE would not be a problem. All you need is CF 3.5, of course there may be resultion and language (spanish) issues:

This app won't work for me with Android v3.2. It says Bluetooth connection is OK but only 888 shows in any of the displays. Any fixes? This ELM adapter works well with Torque and countless other Android OBD2 apps.

    Thanks

    PS

I've tried deinstalling and reinstalling the app but result is still the same. Lights on the ELM adapter flicker as though info is going to the app.
