Well by the way which all season tire is best for the 17" rims, as i am going to upgrade my P 4 15" with either factory or from Discounttire. Though i like the stock 17" but they are way to costly.

In a 205/50/15 the AVID Ascend is a decent choice as is the Ecopia EP422. In a 215/45/17 the Primacy MXM4 is an awesome performer but the Ecopia EP422 and EP100 will likely provide better fuel economy.

The 205/50/17 will keep tire diameter the same as OE 15s. The 215/45/17 is smaller in diameter and may increase your speedo error. In theory mpg should be worse with the wider tire also.

Well on that note I am now really confused about the wheels. I like the OEM Wheel look but they are very costly (with tires would cost 1800 to 2000) and the aftermarket have lots of choices but closest to oem I found are MOMO Winter Pro 77065 (with tires cost 14590).<all prices checked at discount tires>
So guys pls give me ur suggestion/opinions... would appreciate that

Wish would have opted for the package 5 :(

I'd suggest going for a unique style like the Momo Next on Silver, bronze Five Axis S5:F or Volk TE37 on Blizzard Pearl, etc. Otherwise, it'll look like you're trying too hard to be a Five if you select a style that resembles the OEM 17".

It's spelled v. The v 17" rims aren't too attractive. Toyota did a poor job on that one compared to 3rd Gen OEM 17" and Plus 17".

I love the look of the PP 17" wheels but I like how unique the Weds 16" wheels are & I get compliments on them all the time. :D I also like the mpg that I've been getting with them too compared to what others see with the 17" wheels. ;)

Wanted to know how's the grip, ride and overall recommendation 17" Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires (215/45ZR17 91W XL B).
I knw some recommend Michelin Mxm4 and Bridgestone Ecopia but they are $161 - $188 each compared to Conti DWS $126 so just want to confirm before I take delivery for the new tires.

They are great tires for the money. Expect to take more of a mpg hit but they wear decently for this size tire (50,000 miles) and they are much cheaper than the LRR tires at $114/ea. vs. $153/ea. (Tirerack.com prices).

Wow u got them cheap man but with the ship price it would be the same.
So do you guys think I am better off with Micheling MXM4 for my factory 17" wheels??? because i did hear someone say that Conti Extreme Contact DWS ride is rough and u can feel it while driving. But how's the ride with Michelin MXM4 is it smoother (i knw it cant be like the 15") but in general wht's ur recomendation.
Also which tire come standard on the Prius OEM 17" wheels.
    Damn confused

The MXM4 is a better tire in every aspect except price.

Like I said above: EP422 for best mpg. Primacy MXM4 (V) for comfort, outstanding wet traction and great dry traction.
