On-Line User Manuals

We get our Prius 5 with the technology pack in late August. Are any of the user manuals online so we can read up on it before we get the car?

I may be wrong, but I think you have to pay for them.

I have been watching all of the How To videos on itunes and youtube. Very helpful. on itunes there are 45 videos on how to use the navigation system and its features.

Thanks. Wish Toyota allowed this to be downloaded before you had a VIN but glad someone else made these available.

I was in a terrible wreck and my Prius was totaled but I managed to find and buy a used one. I have an owners manual but I dont have a navigation manual. Anyone know where I can buy one (the dealership I use is terrible with customer service)

If you want to get into the site and download something else It's not a problem. Just go by the dealer and "borrow" a VIN from one of the new cars. You can use it to log in and download the manuals then delete it. When you delete it you can check the box that says "I never owned this vehicle". Then when you get your VIN you can log back in and enter it. That's what I did, works fine.

Nav manual is available the same place the owner's manual is: Toyota Owners Online | Official Toyota Owners Website

You need to enter a VIN for the year you want manuals for. They are in pdf format, you have to download them one chapter at a time but there are only 12-15 chapters or so.

You can also pay a daily, monthly or yearly subscription and access the manuals at the Tech Info site. Internet Explorer is supported, the others are hit and miss.

2010 Owner's Manual on one pdf file

If anyone would like a copy of the 2010 Prius Owner's Manual on one large pdf file (31.5 MB -- which is a lot easier to search than using Toyota Owners Online or TIS which break the Owner's Manual into 30-something little pdf files -- then PM me with your email address and I'll see what I can do to get a copy to you.

This is what I did the weekend before I got my Prius, only I went do my dealer's online inventory and borrowed a VIN. I downloaded all the sections and then deleted the VIN. When I got my car, it turned out that it's VIN was the one that I had borrowed, so I re-entered the same VIN
