Our trip to the UP of Michigan

    My wife and I took our fall color tour from south east Michigan through the upper peninsula of Michigan with the Prius. Very comfortable. Nav system was a big plus.
    1160 miles, 25.9 gallons, $76.67, 3 days. 44.78 MPG. (We had a bad head wind heading north and it took its toll on our MPG.

    Glad to hear it.

    Last year my wife and I flew to Escanaba (UP) to get our Prius and drive it home (350 miles to the south - that's half a tank).

    We thought we'd have a chance to see fall colors in mid-September, but there were many evergreens in the Escanaba area.

    ooh, i'm so jealous! it's going to be a while before we get fall colors here (east central nc), and being a wisconsin native i miss them!!!
