Excellent, keep us posted! Do the headlights simply unbolt or is there any sealant/glue holding the halves together?

The headlights have 3 screws, 1 trox screw (looks like a star with a pin in the center), to take it apart. You have to remove all the bulbs, tape off any opening so dirt doesn't get it, then put it in the over for 8 minutes each. Slowly pull it apart, there is a grey silicone seal that you will need to reuse once you are ready to put it back together.

220F. Here are some photos. I would recommend replacing the seal. My right headlight has some haze so I will be redoing the headlights to reseal. I was parked behind someone so the glare from their taillight is showing on some of the photos.

Looks good; the body color reminds me of the C6 Corvette and Ferrari 360 Modena. It certainly gives the car a whole new look.

The headlight lens started to get foggy from the reaction with the paint. Fortunately you can buy just the clear lens. Part on order but went on backorder.:(

Here are the part numbers, 81131-52E80 (right), 81171-52E80 (left). They cost $75.08 each. Here is the break down of the part.

So the lens is made to come apart easily but once it is messed with you will have fogging issues?

OK so that's the part number for the outer clear cover. I was hoping you'd found a part number for the clear version of our amber side reflector lens. Thanks for the diagram nevertheless!

The reflector doesn't come clear for the U.S. I will look into getting a clear one or if someone can make them. I will keep you posted.

priusCpilot - The headlight can be purchase seperately. The only thing you have to make sure is to not break the black housing. If you break any of those clips, you will have to buy a whole headlight. I have a matte black version of my lights for sale. Would anyone be interested in buying them? It's just for the part that is painted blue in this tread.

This is one reason why I wanted silver... the chrome sides look fine with silver.
