I was very disappointed when my Palm 755p would not be found by the Prius bluetooth. I called and went to both Toyota and Sprint and both told me all Palm phones will not work in the Prius.

I searched the Web and came across a fix. All you have to do is force the connect. You do this be making a call from the phone while the car bluetooth is searching for the phone. It recognizes instantly and it has worked perfect since then.

Just thought I would share a good tip.

I have a TREO 850 that I have yet to pair with my Prius 2010. Dealer couldn't pair it either. I'll give this a try when I get home.

Thank you very much. Once it connects do you have to do this everytime you get in the car or will it automatically connect to the Prius bluetooth? Are you able to download your contacts?

That's odd that they'd say that. I have a Centro and while it took a while to get it to work, I finally figured it out.

I didn't get it to connect in the way you described either.

thank you for this fix! finally got the palm treo680 connected by doing exactly what was stated...making a phone call while the prius is searching for the phone.

can i ask how I can transfer my contacts from the treo680? when I try to do so, nothing happens... I successfully connected and transfer my contacts from my iphone though.

    thanks again!
