Since I have a big motor home this is great news. Hopefully I will see it available in a motor home chassis.

Peterbilt does sell trucks outfitted to tow 5th wheel travel trailers, and its possible to build a motorhome on a custom truck chassis, so eventually this will probably filter down to the RV chassis. It looks like Peterbilt will be the first adopter, but others will follow once the technology has been tested and successful.

International already is making hybrid school buses, the first went into service in one of our neighboring school districts.

Hadn't seen that before, but youre correct; Navistar released hybrid school and commercial buses last year. I didn't pickup on the wording in the Peterbilt PR release:

Apparently "leading" means "we are one of the leaders"

I work at ISE, so I see hybrid buses and trucks all the time.

How many hybrid buses do you have in service and which cities have the most?

The buses in the Sac area are mostly CNG and I haven't seen any hybrid ones here yet.
