I drove home today from working in Atlantic City on RT 563. There is a restaurant just off there on the Mullica River "Sweetwater Casino" which is very popular. haven't been there in a long time but they used to offer boat rides. I was very impressed with rt 563- nice bike lanes on both sides up to rt 72. pretty flat through the pinelands and heart of cranberry country. there were also a couple of place to rent canoes,camping, etc... so there is potential for a nice day with lots of activities for those who want to do something different. too tired at the moment to figure it out... check you calendars & lets make a date for the pinelands!
