I just checked out a used 2006 Prius. It seems very clean and everything. It has HOV stickers, I just saw one problem and not sure if this is a big deal but I thought this is the place to ask. Does it say on your registration if you have HOV stickers? I was a little skeptical that this car had fake stickers, only because the one on the front bumper was peeling. The owner said it's not on his registration. Will it say it in carfax? How can I check if this car has legal stickers issued for it? Thank you.
In Florida, the HOV sticker has a registration card that looks almost exactly like the plate registration. Same for Handicapped permits. FWIW If you want the car, but it and just take the sticker off or stay out of the HOV lanes. Bob
