I know toyota has a site to list compatable cell phones for the 2010
but I don't think it is correct.

I have a LG VX-8300 cell phone and it works well on a 2010 pkgIII

    and a 2006 pkg5

iPhone 3G. The bluetooth streaming for slacker/pandora/last fm is flawless, and sounds great. It makes the ipod interface superfluous.

So how did you get this to work? I just got my Prius IV/nav last night, and though the phone pairing went flawlessly (and contact list transfer), I tried playing music but it only came out of the iPhone. It's probably something relatively obvious . . . ?

Update: went out to the car & played a bit more. Got it to work. Apparently, one has to sync the iPhone once for its phone connection, then again thru a separate menu for music.

    Does sound great!

Blackberry Storm - contacts transferred perfectly too! I use Ipod touch with latest 3GS upgrade for bluetooth streaming of music as well and they both synch perfectly and somehow know to mute audio when call comes in.

I got my iPhone 3GS to work for both phone and music player via bluetooth. However, I couldn't sync my wife's Palm Treo 680. Does anyone know why?

Blackberry 8320: Phone pairs fine, but have reports that the outgoing sound quality is sketchy. Note that if you have the A/C vents pointing upward, they will impinge on the microphone and make it sound like you're talking from within a huricane.

The blackberry media player streams through bluetooth audio as well, but you have to start it on the phone, and the car controls can only affect the playlist selected (e.g., next song, prev song), but can't do much more than that.

LG VX8700. Phone syncs, contacts didn't.

Also - check your carrier's website for compatibility - phones will vary based on the carrier.
