My 2008 Prius has a slight popping sound at low speed. With mild acceleration only. Coming from front right of car. Happens in drive, reverse and while turning. Irregular pattern.

    Any idea where to start?

No one has heard this before from a Prius?
Edit: answer; loose tire sensor inside tire.

You should start by taking your car in to have it checked. Most front end shops will do this for no cost.

Well I had it checked out. The tire pressure sensor broke off and was rolling around in the tire. Banged up the inside real good. Well, I have taken care of the sound and found our why my tire light was always on.

Glad you found out what the problem was. This is a great example of why having more information (TPMS light), no matter how apparently unrelated, could have resolved it sooner rather than later...
