possible to use voice recognition button to control aftermarket equipment (isimple inseam)?

Hello, I have just purchased an isimple inseam and have factory nav/voice recognition. I never use either cause the nav is so outdated and the vr is a joke. However I would like to use the vr button to control the inseam that I purchased as opposed to using the mode button to start the inseam and give voice commands.

Checkout that video it's really good about explaining the product. Essentially it's a device that installs behind the factory stereo gives Bluetooth connectivity well as steering wheel control of apps on your that connected.
