Not my Prius but I really like the look of the rims on this Prius.. If they did not hurt MPG'S these are the ones I would go with..

One of the negatives about sportier wheels on the Prius are the very lawn tractor size brakes that are easily seen. This is especially true on the US Prius' that have drums in the back. I had a 200cc ATV several years ago with drum brakes and I swear the drums were bigger than the Prius drums. I actually remember myself saying, "ahhh, how cute" the first time I rotated my tires. :)

a little over a day? i can ask a question in some other forums i'm a member in: cadillac forums and ducati monster forums, and i'll have 10 replies in a couple of hours. i guess this is just a much slower forum to get responses.

and thanks for your input. very helpful...

@mrplease: I think it is because of the question. People don't trick out the cosmetics on the Prius as much. Not that the Prius couldn't use plenty of cosmetic help. ;)

The wheels/rims are designed for MPG, and that is what alot of people usually stick with because they don't want to mess with the MPGs.

If you posted something about MPG accessories, tightenting the suspension, audio/video and other electronics, etc. you would probably see plenty of responses quickly.

Some people on this site have pretty cool looking rims, and there are plenty of threads about taking the plastic covers off both the touring and standard.

I apologize for my rudness. I wasn't thinking that members probably already had photos to post. I was thinking of having to find the time and light to get a good pictures to post, not that we have ours yet. We personally have a touring on order so we'll be getting the OEM 16" wheels & tires. I think this is a great idea to have a common place to brouse for wheels. You might want to ask the posters to include wheel and tire brands, sizes and and statistics they may have on their rims. Weight is an issue for alot of Prius owners when looking for aftermarket rims.

Sorry again for any rudness. It's just that I thought your reply may have turned off some potential posters that had not had a chance to respond for any number of reasons. :sorry:

There you go. I think the tires are KUMHO, wait, did I spell that right? I'll have to look later. And I forget the rims maker...but it's late.
