The government is changing the rules again for C4C.

If you can't find a Prius you want at a dealer within reasonable distance from you, now you don't have to worry about being left out of C4C. Since there is a shortage, as long as the dealer can provide a full VIN for your car, you can still do a C4C!

Start bugging those dealerships to find you a car now!!! Money will be gone by Labor Day (all 3 billion).

Boon for Toyota, sad for those without clunkers who want a Prius below MSRP because this will just push demand further out (I'm glad I got mine already but I can sympathize with those still waiting. It is worth the wait!)

What if the deal locates a car after labor day? Does it still qualify for C4C?

I see this update on the CARS site, but it doesn't seem to give any specifics. Or am I missing something?
