    After looking at my 2008 manual, and doing some checking on the
    compatability of Bluetooth compatable phones. I find that Verizon
    has my phone locked out of data transfer of the phone book of
    my Razor V3.

    My question is: Does anyone know of a way to enter the phone
    numbers into the phone book manualy? I don't see anything in
    the book that says anything like that.

    Thanks for any help.

    The six(?) speed dial entries. . .
    Or, dial from your phone and go off hook from the steering pad . . .

    Hi Bob/Sharon,

    I noticed nobody has replied to you, but don't know why... :huh:

    Manually programming phone book entries is quite easy, and there are two ways to do it;

    - While stopped, press the off-hook button on the steering wheel, then press "Phone Book" on the MFP. You should see a Register 'soft' button at the top of the screen. Press it and go to town. :)

    or...

    - Also while stopped, press the Menu 'hard' button, then choose Phone Book (?) and register from there. I am in the car at the moment and am going from memory on that one...

    Good luck!

    With Verizon, send phone book one by one (I think it's called Vcard) quicker than enter manually to the system. You can search in this forums,

    For LG VX8300 (Verizon), you can send 10 name cards at a time, for example you have 82 names in your phone book you need to transfer 9 times.

    1-Pairing then Set up the car bluetooth so your car bluetooth is transfering ( you can use your Prius user manual).

    2-Menu -> Setting&Tools -> Bluetooth -> HighlightyourcarbluetoothName HANDS FREE ->options->Send Name Card -> Mark ten name at a time -> Done

    3-Mark ten names again -> Done

    4-Continue Step 3 till all names are tranfered.

    The 2005 doesn't have manual entry of phone numbers. I got a cheap non-Verizon BT phone off of eBay, put the numbers in that and sent the numbers that way.

    You can also do that if you have a laptop with BT.
