Have a 2010 Prius 2 and the keyless entry does not seem to work for the hatch, if the car is locked and you stand at the hatch you can't open it and there no small button on the side of the hatch handle as shown in the owners manual.

We were told that is should unlock just by standing near the hatch so am wondering if this is a standard feature of the 2010 Prius 2 or not?

Not - the II only opens the Driver door with proximity feature. Will need to unlock with fob, then find 'dimpled' button in hatch area to press and open.

Yeah, the Prius II and III have one door SKS. IV and V have 3 door SKS, it's on the Prius website and in Prius nomenclature at the dealer as well. I surely hope it wasn't the dealer who told you this information.

Also, please post in the proper forums on Priuschat. This is the Prius v forum, dedicated for the upcoming Prius v. Your question belongs in the 2010 Gen III forums. Thanks.
