This car was "in port" (though I don't think it was even finished being built) and they thought it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. So my deposit would be transferred this this vehicle. Last Thursday I got a VIN#. Here's hoping that before the month is out I'll be a bona fide member of PriusChat. :cheer2:
Just got a call--it's in! Now I have to figure out about getting out there to pick it up and all. I just got home two nights ago from an 1,800 mile round trip and I'm less than thrilled about setting out on the road again so soon. I was hoping that I would be able to take the train from a point on my last road trip out to near Billings to at least avoid 16 hours + stops of driving. Thirty-six hours total on a train beats 16 + stops driving a car!
