According to the letter I got from the Toyota Sales Manager for Switzerland the conditions for CH warranty on the new Prius 2009 are as follows: Free service for =< 45 000 km and =< 3 years Hybrid Synergy Drive components warranty for =< 160 000 and =< 8 years Total warranty for =< 100 000 km and =< 3 years Toyota Mobility warranty for =< 3 years
Even the Prius Gen II has traditionally had more goodies than our 3 year old, 2006 hybrid Lexus 400h SUV. The 400h has a 48K mile / 4 year warranty. For example, the Lexus 2010 400h is just now getting SKS to replace its 75yr old mechanical key technology. So, certainly (Since the 400h is LESS than the Prius, modernly speaking) the Gen III Prius will have a 48K mile warranty as well ... right?
Am I reading this right? You have 3 services for free? Was it like that already with the current generation Prius? We have no free service here in Portugal.
That would be the Prius 2009, right? The new one is calles Prius 2010 and it has different warranty conditions.
No it is for Prius III. Sorry for the confusion - in Switzerland we like precision and logic thus calling a car that is on the market in the middle of 2009 a 2010 model is considered silly
Yes 3 years of free services. It is common in CH not only for Toyota but for other makes too. The price more than makes for it though
