Prius Plug-in Accessories - Now available in the PriusChat Shop

You know that cargo flap on the rear right side?
When opened, mine shows empty slots where tools, presumably, would go.
Are there supposed be tools or accessories at purchase, or are they optional add-ons?

If yours is like mine, you'll find tire changing tools under a cover under the driver's seat, where they are very easy to get to. Now if only the car had provision to put a space saver spare tire somewhere, instead of that useless can of messy fix-a-flat gunk, it would be perfect.

When you use the charging cable away from home, how do you hang the cord when plugged in so that there is not a strain on the plug from the weight of that nearby big control device on the cord. The manual specifically states that this device should be supported by a hook or (something). I assume that there is a good reason why Toyota placed this control device so close to the plug.

Any word on the all weather cargo tray designed for the PiP?

I had the same problem you did with regards to interference from the two lower clips that secure the cargo net, when trying to open the cargo lid storage area door. I found that simply unclipping the two lower cargo net clips when I want to open that door works nicely.

I am still hopeful that someone will come up with a rubber cargo area cover that bends at the hinge for the storage area door, and also extends up the rear seatbacks so that when they are folded flat, the entire cargo area will be protected by an easily washable mat.

If you're planning to use a plug all the time, try adding a hook or Velcro Strap to hang the CCID (LED device) off the ground.

I actually did put a hook on the wall in my garage to hand the CCID. My question really pertains to how we're are supposed to support the CCID when on the road, using other people's electrical outlets?

Plug in the cable, wrap a Velcro strap around the plug tight to the wall and wrap the other end down near the CCID, keeping it off the ground. The strain should be straight down and not pull the plug out.

Where did you find these mirror covers? I think that would be an awesome add-on...

Can you put the Performance Plus ground effects package and wheels on the PIP? Has anyone tried?

Anybody purchase the FloorLiner™ DigitalFit® from Weathertech for the PIP? I've tried to get a response from Weathertech on the availability of FloorLiner™ DigitalFit® for the plug in.So far I've gotten no response. It's available for the non-plug in but not the pip. Will the floor liners on the front driver and passenger side for the non plug in fit the plug in? Update: I just received my DigitalFit Floorliners row 1&2. They are for the Non-Plug-In version of the 2012 Prius. They fit the PIP! I didn't order the Cargo Bay floorliner because Weathertech doesn't have it available yet.

I purchased the Toyota All Weather Cargo liner and it dosen't quite fit right. There is a spot mid way down the passanger wheel well that isn't trimmed out right. I'll try to remember to post a pic. Aside from that though I love it.

Wheelskins steering wheel cover arrived a few days ago, so I went to put it on this morning.
It may be "easy to install" but non-trivial for someone with poor dexterity like me. I started the threading from the bottom, then realized this may take some time for me to complete.

Any tips to do this work quickly & well? I figured I should at least make a fresh pot of coffee & cue a soothing music before starting again

Where can I find good seat covers for the faux leather seats? Something cloth to protest the seats.
