Internet folks at the dealers won't give me a quote. But one finally did tell me they're getting $2000 over MSRP. I should have bought in September when I wanted to. I was quoted $27,500 for a 2010 III with solar panel, $26,500 if I paid cash - OUT THE DOOR!!! I'm pretty sure I'd be paying over 30K now. Boo!!!!

Plus, i really don't like any of the colors of this gen. I was hoping 2011 would bring more, but nope.

Have to stick with my Forester.

The AAA price for a 2011 Three Solar around here is invoice + $1200 ($28139). When dropping that kind of money one should be happy with the car. If there is a Toyota color you do like (or even if there isn't) all you can do is tell them. If your color becomes popular enough it may end up in production.

wow sorry to hear you have to wait. Unfortunately with high prices and production issues due to the Japan issue with the Earthquake, tsunami, nuclear problems, is causing prices to soar.
