Prius tax deduction rules

    I'm the proud owner of a 2007 Package #5 Barcelona Red (her name is Ruby). Can someone describe the rules on the tax credit I get? I bought her Oct 21st, so I get the lower credit. Will I get it every year or just the first year? What is the tax paperwork that I must fill out? I guess I'll have to fill out the full 1040 instead of the nice and easy 1040EZ?
