Here's a little tease for you guys. I was at a super-secret location :)bounce:) last week and grabbed a couple shots of this set of fog lights on a non-Prius v Five.

No ETA yet on when the kit will be available for purchase, but as soon as it's available we'll have it in the PriusChat Shop. More info to come.

2012 prius v uses the same fog lights as the 2011-2012 toyota sienna and other models toyotas. You can find complete aftermarket fog light kit for the sienna on ebay. Just buy two fog light bezzels from the dealer, I got mine online from camelback toyota in arizona for $65 , if your purchases are over $150 shipping is free now, good idea to pick up some parts or accessories at this time.
wiring is identical to the 2010-2011 prius fog lights.
01/31/2013 It has been 9 months now since I have posted a solution to this fog light kit and it appears that the east coast Toyota dealerships has caught on to the idea of putting an aftermarket kit together, rememember the fog light kit they are selling is an aftermarket it , parts are not genuine toyota parts for $149 which is not a bad deal

On the Prius V what wire do you tie into for the fog lamps? There is no brown wire in the wires under the side panel by the emergency brake like on the Prius III. I got the Sienna fog lamp kit as you state above and the bessels from the dealer and everything works fine except I do not know what the wire is for the parking lights. Can you help me asap.

I will take another look at my wiring, there are actually 2 light brown wires, I remember tapping into the top right brown wire on the harness. I will take a picture of it and post it in my home page in pictures by this weekend june 10. I am glad you went my route, no need to wait . danny says top secret location for fog lights, common danny. This option is much better than any aftermarket kit that danny will ever offer because the most important part is the bezzels , factory ones has that nice quality chrome trim/finish and fits perfectly and will last.

Any word on an OEM fog light kit - or prius chat shop kit -- release date???
Got my v2 - and would like to put OEM lights in OEM locations, etc. have the v5 factory look.

not interested in doing a botched installation with an aftermarket universal kit from walmart or auto zone..etc.

    thanks -

For a moment there, that Magnetic Grey v looked like Cypress Pearl because of the lighting!

Question, did you document your installation and do you have it for posting? Based on your previous comments I' ve also ordered the Sienna fog lights and purchased the bezels. Putting the lights in doesn't bother me it's the wiring hook-up which I'd really like to see.

Question did you receive information from Antech5 or receive information on which is correct wire? I'm in process of doing what you did but stopped in order to see if you got word on correct wire" i. e., light brown wire in upper wiring harness or brown wire in lower wiring harness upper right connection. After looking at owners manual I'm assuming correct wire is attached to fuse location 30, in fuse box next to parking break. Thanks in advance.

Spiderman, I've followed your long - long string of information dealing with installing the 2010 Prius fog llight kit and am wondering if you can tell mewhether it is better to use the type of connector shown in step 6.12 of those instructions or get a mini-buss, put in 2 x 10 amp breakers and connect to the pcu slot in the main fuse box, in the engine compartment?
I've been installing a 2012 Sienna Van OEM fog light kit into my v over last couple of days and while I was able to get power it was by taking the red wire, going into engine fuse box, and hooking it up using a quarter inch connector on the 30 amp empty pin (upper-center) I'm not sure this will work correctly. Saying this as driver side fog light turned on, after turning on parking lights, but the passenger side stayed dark. Course the passenger side light could also be from a loose connection (thought I got it tight), burnt out bulb (seems odd for a new bulb), maybe there's a break in the wire harness (probably not likely), or its how the red power wire should hook-up.
In addition, I'm also very very interested in receiving the information you passed to Fore on hooking up the fog lights so that they turn-off when high beams come-on. And yes, I'm no expert on wiring so any pics with explaination would be extremely useful.
