PriusChat website is a little flaky

Could just be me, but PC is acting a bit flaky. Pages are coming up slowly, sometimes not at all. Posting is a hit and miss affair. In fact, this could be a duplicate post since it failed on my first attempt. I've also had trouble with my "Options" spontaneously changing to Outline View. I switch back to Standard View and it works okay, but will switch again later all on its own.

Anyone else having trouble?

Just a guess, but have you been using Google to search PriusChat?

I've found that occasionally when I click on the results of a Google search that link to PriusChat, the link contains some sort of instructions that change my options to outline view. Then it stays that way until I change it back.

Danny this happens out of the blue. At least with me it did. It has happened to me a few times. The one time it changed on me I just finished posting and it switched to the outline mode by its self.

Interesting, I haven't experienced that yet, but then I've only got 16% as many posts as you do. Perhaps I'll experience it eventually. At least it's easy to change back.

Yep, that's been my experience. Linking from the Google search resets (or sets) the options to Outline View. I suppose we can't blame PC for that, although it would be fun to know what causes it.

As for the page and posting problems, I think it's just a speed issue.

Yes, mine is in outline view, but how do you change it back?
not a computer person here.. :lol:

Try using a different browser other then ms internet explorer.
Go to http://www.firefox.com
Firefox is a much better internet browser than ie and more secure and stable.
I also never have problems while surfing PriusChat with my Wii (nintendo uses the Opera browser, but i've never used Opera on my pc but have heard good things)

You will find the Options button at the top right of the screen. Click on it, and pick the view you wish to use.

I run Firefox 2 on my Linux boxes and like it very much. The Options issue is with the PC forum software, not the browser. The switch happens when you do a Google search of the priuschat.com domain, and link back from there.
