It pains me greatly to say this, but we may be selling our 2010 Prius II in the next couple of months.

It is a fantastic car, but we recently discovered my wife is pregnant....with triplets! We already have a 1 year old and needless to say, 4 car seats don't fit well in the Prius. And going from 1 to 4 kids doesn't afford much room for an extra car payment.

Is this a place I could list the car if we do sell it. Would anybody in the midwest have interest in buying it?

    ...just getting a temperature reading...thanks!

    drpoehls,

this is certainly a place you could try selling it. i would also look into ebay, craigslist, and autotrader. with the right price, this should move quickly. good luck and congrats on the triples!

I may be a good fit.

I expect to buy a Prius (pkg-II) sometime in the next several weeks, but could put it off a few months if needed.

I would possibly be interested, depending on price. My preference is to buy used, but it would need to make financial sense with new at $21-22k.

Full disclosure - I have not looked at the used Prius market, as it's not too active around here (I think most lease them, so you don't see many used 2010s locally)...as a result I have no idea whether used will offer enough of a discount for this to make sense.

I am willing to explore the possibility and encourage you to contact me.

A II with 32k miles should be about $17-18k
