Profile picture question

    I tried to add a picture of 'The Twins' to my profile, but got an error that the upload failed. Yet when I check my profile, the picture is there.

    What gives?

    Most often it is because the picture you are uploading exceeds the size limit for profile pictures.

    Let people know if you are using a PC or Mac, and what picture software you are using. Someone can probably walk you thru downsizing your picture.

    Been there, done that: I'm on an iMac, and used GraphicConverter to specifically compress the file size to 20k.

    P.S. I fly a 2202 Prius-class Hybrid Shuttlecraft (Warp & Impulse Power) but you outclass me... at least until I can get my hands on one of the new 2210 jobs with Level 6 technology :)

    There's a difference between Profile pictures and Avatars. The profile pic is what shows up on your actual profile page, while the Avatar is what shows up under your name with your posts.
