This is probaply a stupid question, but is it possible to use the reserve tire pump to inflate offroad bike tires? Tires without the car vent, that is. Is there an adapter?

That would make things a lot easier :)

Sorry, this is the first car I have owned without a spare tire. It just has an electric air pump that connects to the 12 volt outlet and a spray box with some glue. Maybe it could be used to inflate offroad bike tires too...

no spare? is it a plug in prius? anyway, i don't think the hose has a valve connection, it has to go through the goop can?

If it is as you say, the pump should easily inflate offroad bike tires.

No spare. Just a pump :D

I have not looked. I just asumed there was a normal car vent on the pump. The spray can is a stand alone can though.

Hmm... I think it must have a normal car vent because sometimes you just want to add some air, not fix it with goop.

Pump has ha normal car tire connection.

So... is there an adapter for the thinner offroad bike tire vent?

    presta adapter.jpg

No but, you can get an adapter that screws onto your presta valve (on the bike tire).

I will order the valve adapter and give it a try. As you could see, I have not used the pump for anything yet. Hopefully I am not in for a surprise. I'll follow up with some pictures when the valve arrives. Thak you for your help :D

You can buy the adapter in many stores (mostly bike stores). No need to order, just pick one up.
