My 2007 Prius package 6 has TPMS. I just bought a new set of wheels which does not have TPMS. When I swapped the new wheels on, I thought the tire pressure light would go on since they don't have sensors. When will it detect the sensors are gone?

It will go on after some time of driving - somewhere between 10 minutes and an hour. And if you park near to where the wheels with the sensors are it may go off again when you start the car if they're in range.

I have been driving it for a few days now. The tire pressure light never came on.

Have you driven for more than an hour at one time? It's not a cumulative time, so if you've been making trips shorter than that it wouldn't come on.
