Does anyone know how much voltage each "bar" represents in the HV battery icon?
Also, what is the RED LINE rpm of the Prius engine? Most traditional ICEs run about 5000 rpm for red line.
    Thanks

There is a graphic floating around for the GenII somewhere that shows the non-linear relationship between the MFD bar display and the actual perceived SOC. I am guessing the GenIII would be similar if not identical.

As for red line, I am not sure. But it is physically impossible to "red line" a Prius in the sense of running the engine at a higher RPM then designed for, so it is sort of moot...

Does anyone know why my battery icon shows full battery life upon starting of car 95% of the time but every once in while it will be almost completely depleted? Almost as if lights or something were left on???

Just depends how it was parked and what temperature it is.

The HV battery has 0 to do with the car when off. So leaving the lights on does nothing but drain the 12v. And the HV battery is the only one that is showed on the MFD.

Absolutely correct. Though some people have been known to accidentally leave the car on after parking it, since the telltale engine idling isn't present (except periodically to keep the battery at a minimal charge level). This will leave the HV battery low... But then you'd notice it was still on the next morning, of course.
