questions to ask when buying used '04

    Recently back into looking at getting 2nd car and what seems to be a fantastic deal for a low mileage 04 (37000km) has just fallen into my lap.

    Are there any important issues that I should be looking at / asking about for this MY or for a prius of this age? Any specific maintenance that should have been done, or issues? One I read was about the display...

    :welcome: Welcome to PriusChat, jonatuna! The display issue is important since it can be somewhat expensive to replace. Otherwise, take the car to a Toyota dealer and have them evaluate it. You may have to pay for them to plug their scanner into it, but that will be cheaper than buying a problem. Also, when the price is low, make sure the car wasn't in an accident and repaired.
