My 2007 is approaching 5000 miles and I'm not sure where to go for service in Madison. Any recommendations?

You basically have Jon Lancaster or Smart Toyota if you plan to stick with the dealer for servicing.
In either case there is a wide range of knowledge among employees. Some really know their stuff, but once in a while you'll find one who can't figure out how to move your car.
    Be patient and be confident.
You are the customer and in the end they want to keep you happy.

Don't forget , if you'd rather, you can always choose a non-dealer service shop for basic stuff like oil changes, tire rotation, etc. Just be sure to keep receipts of the work done.

I am coming up on 25,000 miles on this '05 I bought used. I've had no problems, but I want dealer service to ensure the car has had its recalls done, etc. I had a nice phone chat with a service manager at Lancaster who assured me I'll be able to talk to the service tech directly to gain any tips and to answer some of my curiosities. I'll let you know how it turns out in a week or so.

Are you aware of the Madison Hybrid Club meeting on March 10th? (I'm a newbie who wants to attend... someone else have the details?)

Thanks for the information. I guess I'll try Smart Toyota since that where I purchased and I get a free oil change. I need to get service soon because I'm going on my first road trip with the Prius next week up to the Porcupine Mountains on Lake Superior. Yay!

Timm, please report back on your experience at Lancaster. And I am intending on going to the Madison Hybrid meeting on March 10. It will be great to talk to people who are equally as Prius-obsessed as myself.
