Reliability info on the Gen III Prius -- help make it happen

We'd like to provide reliability info on the Gen III Prius as soon as possible. Can you help?

TrueDelta reports actual repair frequences, which makes the differences between cars much clearer. Results are updated four times a year, to provide information on new models quickly and track cars closely as they age.

Thanks to the help of this forum--which I greatly appreciate--over 500 Prius owners have signed up to participate and we've been providing reliability info on the Gen II for some time now. We'd like to do the same for the Gen III. If owners sign up promptly, we can have the first stats in November, 2009.

Participants simply report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, at the end of each quarter.

To encourage participation, participants receive full access to all results, not just those for their car, free of charge.

I've been a member for this for a few years now. First with my Audi A4, then my Honda Accord. It helped me confirm my purchase the Accord, actually. I'll sign up my wife's 2010 Prius shortly here too. The site does give some good information. The emails and input process can be quite confusing at first but once you read everything thoroughly you'll realize it's quite easy. MKARESH: Any plans in the future to make the site look and feel more user-friendly? Not sure if that's what others are saying or not but wanted to let you know my opinion. Overall, it really is a great site with very important and reliable information. THANKS FOR IT!!

I've already made a number of changes to the site to make it more user-friendly, and am aware that more are needed. Specific suggestions would help--I receive surprisingly few.

Currently I'm stretched way too thin, but recently hired a couple of people part time. Once I get them up to speed, I'll be able to focus more on new features--have many planned--and site design.

Good response here so far--nine 2010s now signed up. If we can get to 40+ in the next few weeks, we can have an initial result in November, with updates every quarter after that.

FWIW, we link back to this forum on every survey results page for the Prius.

Keep an eye on those EGR valves and the "muffler bearing",
especially over the next couple of winters.

Also don't forget to change the headlight fluid every 5,000 miles or 6 months which ever comes first.
